At one of the most important global real estate events, MIPIM 2026, Albania made an ambitious presentation by showcasing 83 strategic projects to international investors. This development is considered a key moment for the future of the country’s real estate market.

The MIPIM fair, held annually in Cannes, is one of the most prestigious platforms where countries and companies present major real estate projects. Albania’s participation in the 2026 edition was not symbolic, but a concrete effort to demonstrate the country’s real potential in urban development, tourism, and strategic investments.

The presented projects cover a wide range of developments, from tourist resorts and modern residential areas to infrastructure projects, marinas, and multifunctional spaces for business and living. A large portion of these projects are concentrated in high-potential areas such as Tirana, Vlora, and Saranda, which are already attracting investors due to tourism growth and infrastructure development.

The presentation at MIPIM 2026 clearly shows that Albania is increasingly positioning itself as a serious investment destination in the region. Competitive prices compared to other European countries, strong tourism growth, and new infrastructure projects are among the main factors attracting foreign investors.

This development is expected to increase foreign direct investment, accelerate urban development, and raise construction standards. At the same time, growing international interest may lead to further increases in property prices and stronger competition for high-quality real estate in the domestic market.
